NWA Strong: Where to Find Help and Resources

Memorial Day weekend took a turn for the worst when an EF3 tornado ripped through our area, destroying homes and so many businesses along its path.
Despite the devastation, our community has quickly pulled together and organized cleaning crews, shelters, food banks and more.
We want to do our part and help spread the word. Below you will find additional links along with our own list of resources who will be serving Saturday, June 1st:

RHS is serving breakfast and lunch at 8am and 12pm (use entrance by auditorium).
You can cool off in the basketball arena. They have wrestling mats down for you to sleep on, and showers available for singles and families.
Sam’s Club in Bentonville
Free BBQ in the Sam’s Club parking lot
Time: 10am – 5pm (or food runs out)

If anyone needs to shower (member or non-member) due to a need, you are invited to shower in one of the following locations:
Branchwood (hours: 6am-8pm)
BVRC (hours: 6am-8pm)
Kingsdale Pool (hours: 11am-7pm)
Metfield Pool (hours: 11am-7pm)
Bella Vista Country Club: You are invited to utilize the spaces adjacent to the lobby where you will find comfortable seating, a/c, power for charging, and wifi from 7am – 9pm. The BV Bar and Grill will be open from 11am – 9pm for lunch and dinner.
Bella Vista Fire Stations 1 & 4 will be providing a space to cool off and charge phones during daytime hours.
Laundry & Showers
The Walmart.org and P&G shower trailer and Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit powered by Matthew: 25 Ministries are available for the community

Tomorrow, 6/2, FBC Bentonville is hosting Food Truck Sunday! They’re inviting the whole community–Lunch is for ANYONE and EVERYONE and is absolutely FREE! Invite your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers. If you know someone who has been directly impacted by the storms, they’d love to feed you!
Trucks will start serving lunch immediately after their 9:00 & 10:45 AM services and will continue to serve until food runs out.
