5 Things to Know Before Attending the Washington County Fair
It’s that time again! Arkansas’ largest and most established county fair, the Washington County Fair, is back.
Since its founding in 1857, the fair has been a cherished tradition, showcasing the dedication of farmers, business leaders, volunteers, and youth. Enjoy thrilling rides, exciting attractions, and family-friendly fun at fantastic prices!
Before going, here are 5 things to know:
Location, Dates and Times:
The Washington County Fair in Fayetteville is located just off of Hwy 112. The fair is set to take from from August 20th – 24th. Gates open daily at 10am and things wrap up at 10pm.
Tickets and Pricing:
Tickets are not available online, so you’ll need to bring a form of payment to enter.
Gate Entry:
- General Admission: Cash $5.00 | Card $7.50
- Armband specials each night at 5pm! (Saturday at noon)
- Children 5 and under: Free
Daily Deals:
- Wristband Wednesday: $25 Arm Bands and Free Entry for Students Until 3 PM
- Partner Up Thursday: 2-for-1 Arm Bands and Free Entry for Seniors Until 5 PM
- Family Friday: $30 Arm Bands with Midnight Madness
- Super Saturday: $30 Arm Bands for All-Day Rides
Parking and Entry
Parking is free! There will be metal detectors and security. You can speed up your entry with a clear plastic bag.
Events and Petting Zoo:

Free Petting Zoo
Who doesn’t love a petting zoo?! The petting zoo will be open daily from 10am – 9pm.
