Movies on the Mountain Kicks Off with Classic Films All Fall Long
If you haven’t heard the news, Mount Sequoyah has got it going on this fall! Not only can you can listen to Music on the Mountain, you can watch a classic film as well!
Join in for a fun evening under the stars at Cottage Circle, where you’ll enjoy iconic films with family and friends, all for just $5, thanks to the support of Experience Fayetteville.

Starting on September 28 and running through October 25, Movies on the Mountain promises an unforgettable fall experience. Enjoy the crisp autumn air while you watch timeless films in a scenic setting. Be sure to bring your lawn chair for added comfort, and they’ll take care of the popcorn, candy, and sodas. Plus, they’ll have a donation-based bar featuring beer, wine, and seltzers to round out the evening. All proceeds from the event support Mount Sequoyah’s initiatives, so your ticket goes to a great cause!
The Films
September 28th at 8pm: Grease
Get ready to kick off Movies on the Mountain with one of the most iconic musicals of all time, Grease! Dress up as your favorite character to receive free popcorn and sing along with Danny, Sandy, and the gang. This beloved American classic is perfect for a fun night out with friends or a nostalgic trip back to Rydell High. All snacks and drinks will be available, including a donation-based bar. Don’t forget—no outside food or drink allowed.

October 11th at 7:30: The Parent Trap (1998)
On October 11th, it’s Family Night with a free screening of the 1998 version of The Parent Trap. Bring the kids along for this heart-warming tale of twins separated at birth who scheme to bring their parents back together. Families can enjoy complimentary popcorn and soda, and kids get in free! Parents can indulge in a drink from the donation-based bar. Join us for a cozy family-friendly evening filled with laughter and fun.

October 25th at 9pm: Friday the 13th (1980)
To close out the series, prepare for a night of fright with the horror classic Friday the 13th on October 25th! Bring your friends, but brace yourself for a chilling evening as we venture into Camp Crystal Lake for this slasher film that started it all. Popcorn, candy, sodas, and drinks from the bar will be available for purchase, but remember—no outside food or drinks allowed.
