Unleash Your Inner Goblin at Bentonville’s Halloween-Themed 5K

Calling all ghosts, goblins, pirates, ballerinas, and other fun characters to join us for the annual Goblin Run in Downtown Bentonville!

The 5K is a festive and family-friendly race that offers a great opportunity to dress up, enjoy some exercise, and soak in the Halloween spirit. The race course will take you through the heart of Bentonville, beginning and ending just a block away from the Bentonville Square.

Note: For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the race course.

Date and Time:

  • 5K Start Time: 7:30 AM
  • Goblin Kids Fun Run: Approximately 8:30 AM (immediately following the last 5K runner)

Cost:

  • $35 per participant
  • $45 for packet pickup registration

Registration Deadline:

Registration closes on October 23 at 11:59 PM. Please note that race day registration is NOT available.

  • October 24: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • October 25: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Volunteer Opportunities

The Goblin Run 5K depends on the support of volunteers to make the event a success. Volunteer roles include:

  • Course Marshals: Help guide and keep runners safe.
  • Timing Chip Removal: Assist with clipping timing chips off shoes.
  • Medal Distribution: Hand out finisher medals at the finish line.

Race Day Instructions

Arrival:
Plan to arrive early to secure parking and make your way to the starting area in Downtown Bentonville. Several free public parking lots are available in the downtown area.

Race Packet Contents:
Your packet will include:

  • Race Shirt
  • Race Bib: Affix your race number to the front of your outermost layer using the provided safety pins.
  • Shoe Chip: Attach the timing chip to your shoe laces for accurate race timing.

Shoe Chip Instructions:

  1. Thread the provided wire ties under your shoe laces.
  2. Secure the shoe tag onto the wire ties.
  3. Firmly twist the wire ties to fasten the chip to your shoe.

Important: Remember to return your shoe tag at the finish line. These tags are reusable and costly to replace!
