Meet PBS Stars and Enjoy Activities at Family Day in Springdale
Get ready for an exciting day of family fun at the NWA PBS Family Day on Saturday, October 12th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jones Center in Springdale!
This free community event is perfect for families looking to enjoy an array of entertaining and educational activities. The day will be packed with live music, interactive demos, face painting, and games, creating an atmosphere full of excitement for all ages.
Your kids will be thrilled to meet beloved PBS characters like Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George, and Daniel Tiger. They’ll have the opportunity to take photos with these characters and participate in fun activities like story time, sidewalk chalk art, and exploring a real firetruck with the Springdale Fire Department.
The event also includes free snacks for kids from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., along with interactive exhibits from local organizations like the Scott Family Amazeum, Crystal Bridges Museum, and Ozark Natural Science Center. Plus, don’t miss the dance party and live music performances by Papa Rap!
