Meet the Artists

September 6th: Meadow Makers

On September 6th, kick off the Music on the Mountain series with the Meadow Makers, a heartfelt folk duo from the Boston Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. Comprised of Dana Louise and Noah Richmond, this talented pair has been crafting their unique sound while building a cabin and raising a family. Their music, a blend of rich melodies and soulful lyrics, brings a fresh twist to traditional folk, reflecting their journey and passion for songwriting. Join them for an evening of music that transcends genres and connects on a deeper level.

October 4th: Amos Cochran

October 4th brings the innovative sounds of Emmy-nominated composer Amos Cochran to the stage. Known for his versatile compositions and sound artistry, Cochran’s work has graced international platforms like the Sundance Film Festival and the London Design Festival. This performance will feature his signature style, blending visual art with immersive soundscapes. From his multisensory installations to collaborations with symphonies and renowned designers, Cochran’s music is an experience that challenges boundaries and stimulates the senses, making for a truly unforgettable night.

October 26th: Adorners

Closing out the series on October 26th, Adorners offers a hauntingly beautiful exploration of Arkansas ghost stories through music. Trevor Bates and Candice Sisemore, along with Caroline Millar, transform regional folklore into evocative songs that capture the eerie yet relatable emotions of their tales. With themes of longing, terror, and humor, Adorners bring Arkansas’s haunted history to life, creating a connection between past and present. The night will open with a performance by Sally Jo Roussin, setting the stage for an evening filled with storytelling and spectral melodies.

Make sure to reserve your free tickets in advance. Although the concerts are free, reservations help ensure everyone has a great experience, especially if we need to move indoors. And if you’re hungry, why not add a large pizza to your ticket and make it a full evening of fun?

Pizza will not be available on the October 4th performance, but drinks will be available.

So grab your friends, your family, and your blankets, and head up the mountain for a magical night of music, community, and the beautiful outdoors.

See you there, Northwest Arkansas!
