Paddle Out and Reconnect with Heroes on the Water
This Saturday, trade your stress for sunshine. Heroes on the Water – NWA Chapter is hosting a free, all-ages day of kayaking, fishing, and community connection at Siloam Springs Lake—and it’s all about giving back to our Veterans, Active Duty, Reservists, National Guard, First Responders, and their families.

The Deets:
Where: Siloam Springs Lake, 22700 Dawn Hill East Rd, Siloam Springs, AR
When: Saturday, April 12 • 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (CDT)
Cost: Totally free—but registration is required
Parking: Free on-site
What’s Included (at no cost):
- Kayak, paddle, personal flotation device (PFD), fishing pole, and bait
- Shore games and fishing setups for non-paddlers
- Lunch + your choice of bottled water or soft drink
- Gear, guides, and good company—all provided by the HOW crew
Safety & Guidelines:
- PFDs are required while in/on kayaks
- No alcohol or drugs at the event
- Come dressed for weather + water (yes, you’ll likely get wet!)
- Bring sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and a change of clothes
- This is a family-friendly, all-ages event
