Paddles Up For Charity At The Pickleball Social

The Easter period offers a unique way for one to give back to the less privileged in the community. The Havenwood Pickleball Social is a fundraising event featuring various fun activities.

Everyone is welcome to the charity event whether you are a pro player or a novice player; additionally, there is no age restriction. There will be 30-minute beginner lessons, followed by a one-hour tournament. There will be two rounds of tournaments. Players must be at least 12 years old.

Besides various delicious meals, the 2024 Havenwood Pickleball Social will feature refreshing alcoholic beverages, a costume contest, raffles and prizes, and consultation from health and wellness experts.

They will also offer free short sessions to help attendees recharge and rejuvenate. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to Havenwood, which is a local non-profit organization that empowers single mothers and their children to move from crisis to self-sufficiency.
