Tamales, Tunes, and Trophies: Join the Fun at Tamales Festival 2024
The Tamales Festival 2024 promises a day of fun, community spirit, and delicious food, all while supporting a great cause.
Taking place on September 14th from 8am to 10pm, this free-to-attend event is packed with activities for everyone. The festival will raise funds for Tamales for Toys, a local initiative that provides Christmas gifts to children in need.
Attendees can enjoy live concerts featuring Brown Sugar, Jesse Martinez, and DJ Virgil Boggs. There are also plenty of family-friendly activities throughout the day, including face painting, a kids’ agility course hosted by the Lowell Fire Department, and a free outdoor kids’ movie at 7pm.
Car enthusiasts will love the car show, with registration from 8am to 1pm. For just $30, participants can showcase their vehicles, and the winner will take home a trophy.
If tamales are your thing, you can enter the tamale contest for free and compete for the Ultimate Title of Best Tamale Maker!
By attending or donating, you’ll be supporting a fantastic local cause and helping ensure families in the community can have a brighter holiday season.
All proceeds from the event go to support Tamales for Toys and Shop with a Cop, ensuring that local children and families receive toys and support during the holiday season. The event is free to attend, but attendees can donate to these charitable causes by purchasing tickets, helping make a difference in the community.
Don’t miss it!
