The Music Of Fall: A Look At NWA’s New Fall Music Festival
The leaves are changing, the air is getting cooler, and NWA is about to show off all of her beautiful majestic foliage! We can all agree that this is the best time of year, right?!
As if all the other fall activities aren’t enough, NWA spruced things up BIG time this year by adding a new fall music festival in Bentonville! Format is the name of this funky, art-driven festival, and it will host around 70 musical artists from all over the world.
The event will take place on 250 acres of a natural landing strip surrounded by a forested ravine. As secluded as that sounds, it is only 5 minutes away from downtown Bentonville.
Talents such as The War On Drugs, Beach House, Rufus Du Sol, Phoenix, Flaming Lips, and Herbie Hancock, just to name a few, will be present for this one of a kind festival. Tickets start out at $125 ($75 for students) for daily admission and go up to $2,800 for a destination experience with hotel accommodations at 21C.
If you can’t make it out to the festival during the 23-25 of September dates, don’t lose hope! There will be a kick-off event with a performance by The War On Drugs along with the launching of Doug Aitken’s mirrored hot air balloon on the 22nd of September at the Momentarium! Fun times will be had during the fall in NWA and you don’t want to miss out!
Tickets: $125 – $2,800
Date: 09/23/22 – 09/25/22
Location: Sugar Creek Airstrip, Price Coffee Rd, Bentonville
